Marilyn Winke

Marilyn M. Winke, 73, of Port Clinton, OH, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Toledo, OH. She was born November 13, 1933 in Port Clinton, a daughter of James and Leafey (Middleton) Thompson. Marilyn was retired from the Elk’s Lodge 1718 of Port Clinton. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Jason) Deal, Port Clinton; sons, Jeff (Jennifer) Winke Sylvania, OH, Todd (Diane) Winke Oak Harbor, OH, Rod Winke, and Brad (Kimberly McRitchie) Winke, both of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Alisa, Joshua, Erica, Joseph, Dakota, Rachel, Molly, Kayce and Andrea; great-granddaughter, Emma; sisters, Rosie (Hank) Ceccoli and Donna (Stanley) Kowalczk; and brothers Alfred and James Thompson, all of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her longtime companion Jack Schneider. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. The Rev. John C. Missler will officiate, and interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Bay Township Fire Department.
