Marilyn Infield, 87, of Lakeside, Ohio and formerly of Bedford, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Otterbein North Shore Senior Lifestyle Center. She was born on October 21, 1930 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Hazel Hubbard Johnston and Warner Johnston. She married C. Dean Infield on August 15, 1953 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2012. Marilyn taught at the Bedford City Schools until she decided to stay at home and raise her two daughters. Marilyn taught preschool at the Bedford Preschool Co-op for over 20 years. She was a member of the Bedford Christian Church as well as the Lakeside Methodist Church. She was also an active member of the Lakeside Womens Club. She was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, reading, cooking, baking, and volunteering as a speaker on various topics. Most importantly, she devoted her life to raising her two amazing daughters. Survivors include her daughters, Beth and Jeanne Infield, residents of Otterbein North Shore Senior Lifestyle Center; sister, Adele Fleming, Peoria, Illinois; as well as nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, along with many dear friends. Per Marilyns wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marilyns life will take place at a later date at Lakeside Memorial Garden in Lakeside, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Chautauqua at 236 Walnut Ave., Lakeside, Ohio 43440.
