Marie K. (Boyert) Mueller

Marie Kathryn (Boyert) Mueller, 85, of Catawba Island, OH, went to be with the love of her life, John, on February 11, 2021. She was born on January 23, 1936 in Cleveland, OH to Anthony and Kathryn (Brolley) Boyert. She was a 1954 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Cleveland. Marie and John were married on August 31, 1957 and shared a beautiful life together that would span 63 years. They produced 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and two lifetimes of memories that will be passed on for generations. She shared her strong faith by volunteering at St. Mary’s of the Falls as the President of the Mother’s Guild, starting the hot lunch program and as a Eucharistic Minister. She worked and retired from Honey Baked Ham in 2000. Upon retirement they became parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marblehead, OH. Marie is survived by sons: John (Angie), Bill (Sandi), Joe (Judith), and Anthony (Tammy); daughter: Suzanne (Tim) Freeman; grandchildren: Morgen, Brittany (Matt), Ashley, Michelle, Bill Jr, Marie (Paul), Daniel (Kaycee), Jacob, Jillian, Stephen (Alyssa), Kelsey, Benjamin, Alex, Adam; great-grandchildren: Kayle, Josie, Autumn, Aubrey, Alyssa, Marshall, Thomas, Aunabelle; brother: Robert (Judy) Boyert; sister: Alice (Boyert) Sonnier. She was proceeded in death by husband: John; daughter: Annie; brothers: Ray and Kenny Boyert; sisters: Bonita (Boyert) Calvey and Virginia (Boyert) Hutchinson. Services for both John and Marie will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Rd., Medina, OH, at 10.00 A.M. Interment will follow at Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
