Marie A. Sehlmeyer, 67, of Port Clinton passed away Sunday September 26, 2021 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born July 27, 1954 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Richard and Mildred (DeBlase) Rose, Sr. Marie was a bartender at Fred’s Avalon and also worked at Friendship Marathon Gas Station. She loved cooking for her boys. Surviving are her sons: Richard L. Greening of Port Clinton, Jason D. Greening of Norwalk, OH, Steven D. (Mandy) Colflesh of Port Clinton, James A. Colflesh of Port Clinton; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Richard Rose, Jr. of Port Clinton, Brian Rose of Texas; sister: Teresa Rose-Earnest of Port Clinton; step-mother: Rosemary Rose of Port Clinton; lifelong friend: John Ward and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dave Sehlmeyer and son: Robert L. Greening. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, October 1, 2021.
