Marian L. Ossovicki

Marian L. Ossovicki, 81, of Marblehead, OH passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Marblehead, OH the daughter of Robert and Mary (Kukay) Lawitzke. She married Raymond J. Ossovicki on November 23, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1996. Marian was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead where she sang in the choir for 15 years and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She previously was a waitress at various Marblehead Peninsula restaurants. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons: Raymond (Laila) Ossovicki of Cleveland, Ronald Ossovicki of Marblehead; daughters: Elaine (Mark) Karamol of Delta, OH, Mary (Rick) Laser of Port Clinton, Susan (James) Richardson of Dublin, OH; grandchildren: Brittany (Chris) Warga, Jonathan Ossovicki, Kathryn (Blaise) Hruby, Rachael Ossovicki, Jennifer Ossovicki, Valerie Philips, Emily Richardson, Sahara Richardson; great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Aria, Zaiden, Colin, Kyle, Gabriel, Bella; brother: Robert D. (Martha) Lawitzke of Catawba Island; sisters: Beatrice (Michael) Pepon of Marblehead, Donna Jean (Tom-deceased) Badish of Marblehead. She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond; and grandson: Steven Philips. Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where the Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father James Brown 11:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH followed by interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
