Marian C. Wightman, 81, of Port Clinton died September 22, 2006 after a long illness at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. She had previously lived with her sister Deloris Harnisch for many years before a short stay at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center. She was born January 20, 1925 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late Samuel and Charlotte (Drickhamer) Wightman. She was a cashier at the former Timblins Drug Store and later retired from Rite Aid. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Surviving are her sister: Deloris Harnisch of Port Clinton; nephews: Mark Harnisch of Port Clinton, Michael Harnisch of Perrysburg, Vaughn Brewer of Mathews, NC, Wes Wightman of Port Clinton; nieces: Patti Shilling of Port Clinton, Sharon Rofkar of Port Clinton and many great-neices and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother: Ralph Wightman, sister: Florence Brewer and nephew Tim Harnish. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2006 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be given to American Lung Association, St. John Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of Ottawa County.
