Marge Carry

Marge Carry, 84 of Elmore, OH died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg, OH under Hospice Care. She was born January 15, 1938 in Fremont, OH to the late Otho and Elizabeth (Crist) Dodway. On June 18, 1955 she married Earl E. Carry and he preceded her in death July 15, 2010. Marge spent most of her working years as a seamstress and a clerk. She was also a Girl Scout and 4-H leader who enjoyed reading, sewing, crafting, making birthday and wedding cakes, and camping.

Survivors include her children: Kathy (Jamie) Louk of Elmore, OH, Sue (Pat) Gallagher of Perrysburg, OH and William Carry of Bowling Green, OH; grandchildren: Tim Louk, Nikki (Jim) Cassidy, Jim (Jessica) Gallagher, Ashley (Gerald) Lathrop, Amber Harris, and Hunter Carry; great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Griffin, Damien, Gage, Corbin, Maycie, Maverick, Trey, Mila, Alaina, Gunner, and Casey. She was also preceded in death by a son Russell “Rusty” Carry and brother Haldon Dodway.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
