Margarette "Marg" Barnette

Margarette "Marg" Barnette, 66, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on December 30, 1950 in Blountville, Tennessee, the daughter of Willard "Bill" Barnette and Beulah (Booker) Robbins. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and embroidering. During her stay at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton, she was active in playing BINGO and bowling. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her mother, Beulah; sisters, Sue Fleenor, Marblehead, Doris Holmes, Keokee, Virginia, Bev Havens, Port Clinton, Rachel Sparks, Marblehead, and Norma Hess, Marblehead; brother, Bill Barnette, Jr., Marblehead; step-sisters, Becky Harris and Marcella Mowel, Port Clinton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Marcia St. Marie. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio from 10 am until Funeral Services at 1 pm with Pastor Brad Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery.
