Margaretta "Gretta" Gresh

Margaretta "Gretta" (Ontko) Gresh, of Port Clinton, OH passed away peacefully at her residence on July 10, 2018. She was born in Marblehead, OH, Gretta is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Donald J. Gresh, her children, Laurie (Dave) Neil, Amy (Drew) Downes, David Gresh, Mary Lynn Myers and John (Lauren) Gresh. Grandchildren, Alexandra, Christopher and Kenzie Bodnar, Mary Belle Gresh, Thomas and Caroline Gresh and Chelsea (Mike) Govea; siblings Mary Pepa, Bernadette Weldon, Alice Wingate and Chuck Ontko. Gretta was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Sotak) and Stephen Ontko, sisters: Agnes Ontko, Martha Reino, Mildred Martin; brothers: John, Steven, Edward, Ramon "Sonny", Thomas and James Joseph Ontko. An avid reader, Gretta continuously self-educated and enjoyed a variety of subject matter. She was extremely well read and followed the performing arts and politics. She enjoyed her position of 15 years working with the Ottawa County Municipal Court. She was a devout Catholic and was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In her memory, visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where the Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Missler 11:00 am Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
