SPANGLER, Margaret Jones was born April 12, 1925 in Jackson, Ohio to Ben and Iva Hatten, the only girl of their four children. She married C. Edward Jones in 1947. They pastored Pilgrim Holiness Churches in Ohio and Michigan. In between pastoring, Ed served seven years as business manager for the Pilgrim Holiness Church Headquarters in Indianapolis and Margaret was an aide in a hospital. While at denominational headquarters, Ed felt a call to Zambia, Africa, where they served as missionaries for ten years. Margaret was mostly the "hostess" for the Mission's visitors and staff. Ed passed away in 2004. Margaret moved to Wesleyan Village in 2005. In her years in Wesleyan Village she became the caregiver at different times to four ladies who were also Village residents, each of them younger then she was. In 2006 she married Wayne Spangler, who survives. She will be dearly missed by Wayne's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her "brother" Jack McDonald (actually a first cousin who was raised with her by her parents), nieces Karen (Gary) Isaacs, Melody (Mark Dodrill), and other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many friends. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00pm Friday, June 5, 2020 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH with Rev. Deron Fourman officiating. Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Wesleyan Church Global Partners "Jesus Film Project". Funeral Home: Neidecker-LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home - Port Clinton Chapel 1124 Fulton Street Port Clinton, OH US 43452
