Margaret E. Slobodian

Margaret E. Slobodian, 84, of Marblehead, OH died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on October 15, 1921 in Marblehead, OH, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Slavosky) Tverdick. She was the widow of John Slobodian who preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Slobodian was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Marblehead where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving is her daughter, Diane Jordan, Marblehead; son, Mark (Cindy) Slobodian of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Emily Slobodian of Pennsylvania and sister, Mary Brown of Marblehead, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband and three year old son, John Slobodian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Brown at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. Monday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where a vigil service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday morning at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
