Margaret Ann Turinsky

Margaret Ann Turinsky, 85, of Marblehead, OH died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Providence Care Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born June 20, 1928 in Port Clinton the daughter of Paul and Mary (Bodnovor) Rubin. She married Francis Turinsky and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1994. Mrs. Turinsky worked at the Marina Restaurant in Marblehead. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a past member of the Port Clinton Moose Lodge 1610. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, baking and playing bingo. Surviving are her sons: Francis (Kathy) Turinsky, Jr of Lorain, Paul (Jane) Turinsky of Port Clinton, Raymond (Patty) Turinsky of Sandusky, Joseph (Cindy) Turinsky of Marblehead, Thomas (Inna) Turinsky of Pennsylvania; daughter: Catherine (Robert) Pierce of Boulder, CO; 10 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Shelby Dorski of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her daughters: Thomasine Babcock, Theresa Turinsky; brothers: Sylvester Dorski, Steven West and John Doski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dan Ring at 9:30 am Friday, March 7, 2014 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH where the body will lie in state Friday from 8:30 am until the time of the mass. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 4:00 and 7:00 9:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 2001 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
