Marcella L. Hille, 90, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 04, 2011 at Providence Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on October 8, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orma and Lena (Cutcher) Helterbrake. After graduating from Gibsonburg High School in 1938, she became a cosmetologist. She married Robert F. Hille on August 13, 1940 and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1978. Marcella was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, Ohio, where she was also a member of the Rosary Altar Society; she was a volunteer and life member of Magruder Hospital Auxiliary where she was honored as a volunteer of the year with over 11, 000 hours accumulated; and also a member of the Clay-Genoa V.F.D Firettes. Survivors include her son: Robert (Jeanie) Hille, Port Clinton; daughter: Marcia (Richard) Tangeman, Lambertville, MI; grandchildren: Ann Marie Nagle, Matthew Hille, Brian (Diana) Hille, Jennifer (Andy) Linkous, Sarah (Travis) McCleary; seven great grandchildren plus one due in October; sister: Blanche Schimming, Genoa, Ohio; half brother: Harvey Cedoz, Toledo, Ohio; five nieces and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, where members of the Rosary Altar Society will recite the rosary at 7:30pm. Family prayers will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Saturday, May 7, 2011, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, with Reverend John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will follow at Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; Magruder Hospital Auxiliary, or to Providence Care Center.
