Maizie A. Goetz

Maizie A. Goetz, 75, of Rocky Ridge, OH, died Friday morning at Memorial Hospital, Fremont. She was born on July 21, 1931, the daughter of Lawrence A. & Jessie (Young) Krehmke. Mrs. Goetz was a life long member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. On November 5, 1949, she married Lowell F. Goetz, and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2003. Surviving is her sister-in-law, Peggy Krehmke; nephew, Larry (Kimm) Krehmke; niece, Lisa Krehmke; great nephew, John T. Krehmke; great niece, Jenna Krehmke, and great-great niece, Serenity. Also surviving is a close family friend, Diane (Dale) Behlmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence A. Krehmke and Jessie Krehmke Knox, and her brother, John T. Krehmke. The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M. Monday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. The Rev. Keith Baker will officiate, and interment will be in Limestone Cemetery, Limestone, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, or Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.
