Magdalene "Maggie" Twarek

Magdalene “Maggie” Twarek, 80, of Marblehead, OH, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born April 10, 1925 in Marblehead, a daughter of the late John and Pauline Richick. Mrs. Twarek was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead, and V.F. W. Post 7572 Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She married Francis Twarek on June 18, 1949 and he survives. also surviving are her sons: Thomas (Ellen)Twarek of Crawfordsville, IN, James (Christine)Twarek of Aurora, OH, John (Tina)Twarek of Kansas City, MO, David (Susan)Twarek of Solon, OH; daughter Mary Ann (Robert) Cook of DeMotte, IN; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Richick and sisters, Lena Batcha and Anna Turinsky. The Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, March 4, 2006 at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH, where friends may call after 9 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marblehead. The family will receive friends from 2–8 PM Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Panachida services will be held Friday at 5:30 PM and V.F.W. 7572 Auxiliary prayer services will be held at 7:30 pm Friday in the funeral home.
