Mae Elma Dixon

Mae Elma Dixon, 90, a lifelong resident of Port Clinton died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Kobacker House, Columbus, OH. She was born May 14, 1922 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Alonzo and Carrie (Shriner) Mann. She married Gordon R. Dixon on July 13, 1941 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2006. Mrs. Dixon was a salesperson for Bing Furniture Co. retiring in 1984. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Port Clinton. Surviving are her daughter: Janis (Edwin) Dixon McCausland of New Albany; grandchildren: Douglas Edwin (Julie Montgomery) McCausland, Susan (Matthew) McCausland Halteman; great-grandchildren: Andrew McCausland Halteman, Ethan Douglas McCausland. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 am Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214.
