Lynne A. Wittman

Lynne A. Wittman, 69, of Graytown, OH, died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Port Clinton, OH on July 14, 1947, the daughter of George & Madelyn (Butchko) Snider. Lynne was a secretary at Mercy St. Charles Hospital in Oregon for over 35 years, retiring earlier this year. Her family was very important to her, and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. On October 15, 1966, Lynne married James F. Wittman, and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2015. She is survived by her son, Michael (Julie) Wittman, Port Clinton; daughter, Amy (William) Kitzler, Graytown; grandchildren, Morgan & Samantha Miller, Jamie & Reilly Wittman, and Charles Hursey; and cousins, Joan Hudak, Hank Butchko, and John Butchko. She was preceded in death by her parents, and father and mother-in-law, Emery & Dorothy Wittman. Lynne's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Mercy St. Charles Hospital in I.C.U. and the Medical-Surgical Department, and especially to her friends, Teresa, Deb, Natalie, Ann, Renee, Patty, Brittany, and Pastor Sally. Memorial services will be held at a later date, and interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
