Lyle E. Brinkman

Lyle E. Brinkman, 95, of Elmore, OH passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Genoa Care Center, Genoa, OH. He was born November 12, 1926 in Lindsey, OH the son of Frank and Sophia (Neeb) Brinkman. He graduated from Elmore High School in 1948. He married Gwendolyn “Bubsy” Kardatzke on June 8, 1948 and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2020. Lyle had Brinkman Trucking and later drove for Triple H Produce. He was a member of Bethel Church in Elmore, OH. He previously served on the Woodmore School Board for one term and was previously a member of Elmore Church of God where he served on Council and was the Treasurer. Surviving are his children: Joan Brinkman of Elmore, Charles (Charmaine) Brinkman of Elmore, Naomi (Jeff) Maule of Syracuse, IN; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Gwendolyn “Bubsy”; daughters: Jean and Jane Brinkman and sister: Annabelle Hilborne. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. St. Rte. 51, Elmore, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Bethel Church, 2920 S. State Rte. 590, Elmore, OH 43416. Pastor Tim Sherman will be officiating. Private burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Bethel Church.
