Lydia Garza Whitt

Lydia Garza Whitt, 59, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1961 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Juan and Dionicia (Garza) Alvarez. She married Tim Whitt on April 15, 2005 and he survives. Lydia worked as a cook/manager for The Crow’s Nest and the former Mon Ami Restaurants. She enjoyed playing volleyball, feeding the squirrels and listening to music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Surviving are her husband: Tim; sons: Edward (Krystle) Fick of Port Clinton, Arthur Fick of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Marisol Fick, Edward Fick, Jr., Gabriel Fick; siblings: Catarino (Dana) Alvarez of Port Clinton, Frank (Lori) Alvarez of Tiffin, Juan (Chris Byrd) Alvarez of Port Clinton, Elda Alvarez of Catawba Island and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edwardo Alvarez. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH.
