Luther H. Knopp

Luther H. Knopp, Sr, of Marblehead and formerly of Graytown, OH died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born January 8, 1926 in Graytown, OH the son of Otto and Emma (Fritz) Knopp. Mr. Knopp was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Fleet during World War II. He was an electrical lineman foreman for Ohio Edison and Ohio Power retiring in 1990. He was a life member of Stanley A. Jadwisiak Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 7572 Marblehead, OH. He was a past master of Spartan Lodge 126 F. & A. M. Millersburg, OH; Past High Priest of Millersburg Chapter R. A. M.; past Illustrious Master of Theban Council R. S. M.; a member of Ohio L. S. T. Association and U.S. Amphibious Association. Surviving are his significant other Beatrice M. Campbell; sons: Ronald Knopp of Canton, OH, David Knopp of Barberton, OH, Thomas Knopp of Massilon, OH, Luther Knopp, Jr. of Wooster, OH; daughters: Darlene Morris if Wooster, Kathy Blake of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Robin Knopp; brothers: Herbert Knopp, Donald Knopp; sister: Hulda Johnston and grandson: Randy Knopp. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel.
