Luella Villhauer

Luella Villhauer, 83, of Elmore died Thursday, April 24, 2008. She was born February 22, 1925 in Martin, OH to the late Carl and Hilda (Boss) Emmerich. On October 21, 1950 she married James Villhauer who preceded her in death October 16, 1998. She retired in 1985 as an Agent for Theirwechter Insurance Company, Oak Harbor. Luella was a member of St. John' s United Church of Christ, Elmore where she was active in Church Council, the Choir, and the Honor Workers. She also had memberships in the Fremont Moose Lodge, the Ottawa County Democratic Committee and the Woodmore Band Boosters. Survivors include her daughter Annette (Larry) LeForce of Oregon and grandchildren Angela M. and James L. LeForce. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Margaret Arndt, and sister Lucille Markley. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 12pm at St. John's United Church of Christ, Elmore with the Rev. Karl Whiteman officiating. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery.
