Luella V. Snyder

Luella V. Snyder, 96, of Northwood, Ohio, and formerly of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Bradner, Ohio on October 2, 1923, a daughter of the late J.C. & Zoda (Sommers) Shull. Luella was employed in the cafeteria of the former Brush Wellman Corporation near Elmore for over 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. On January 16, 1946, Luella married Frank R. Snyder, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1975. Luella is survived by her sons: Frank R. (Connie) Snyder of Oak Harbor, OH, Terry E. (Darlene) Snyder of Port Clinton, OH, and James R. (Gloria) Snyder of Genoa, OH; daughter Deborah M. (Tim) Hepner of Northwood, OH. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children: Russell J. Snyder, Richard L. Snyder, and Connie S. Snyder; brother Virgil J. Shull Sr., and sisters: Viola R. Brown, Lurabelle Shull and Leota Brown. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Due to the Covid19 Pandemic, Private Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Funeral Home.
