Luella E. Offenburg

Luella E. Offenburg 7-6-21 7-29-09 Luella E. Offenburg (88) of Port Clinton passed away peacefully on 7/29/09 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home. Born in Oak Harbor, she was the daughter of the late William and Barbara Priesman Conley Youster. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. On June 12 1942 she married Howard J. Offenburg. Mrs. Offenburg worked at Periodical Publishers, Quisnos Candy, and was the Port Clinton Deputy Registrar for the BWV prior to her retirement. She was preceded by her parents, three brothers, Everett, Alfred, and Wilfred (Bud) Youster and one sister Vronetia Barnes. Survivors include her daughter Nancy Offenburg Heenan Colburn, Grandsons, Travis Heenan, Elliott and Tyler Colburn and one great grandson Alex Heenan. Luella is also survived by her half brother Leroy Youster of Perrysburg. The family would like thank her enduring, and loving companion, Gordon Wahlers and the special care she received from the nursing staff at Edgewood Manor and her physician Dr. McLean. The funeral will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at noon with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Edgewood Manor Nursing Home.
