Luella Cal

Luella Cal, 93, of Port Clinton died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 in Middletown, OH. She was born September 6, 1924 in Champion Hill, MS, the daughter of Willie and Augusta (Scales) Loyd. Mrs. Cal worked as a machine operator for Singer Control in Fremont, Ohio. She was a member of the former Faith Church of God and Christ where she was active in the Christian Womens Club. Surviving are her children: John (Sandra) Cox of Port Clinton, Melvin (Sylvia) Cox of Port Clinton, Joel Cal of Middletown, Selena Mack of Middletown; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands: William Cox and Willie Cal; children: Willie Cal, Jr., Billy Cox, Vernon Cal, Augusta Watson and sister: Selena Hamlin. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Rd. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
