Lucille G. Darr

Lucille G. Darr, 98, of Fremont, OH died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont. She was born November 17, 1910 in Salem Twp., Ottawa County to the late Jacob and Clara (Joseph) Felder. She was a 1928 graduate of Salem- Oak Harbor High School. On August 21, 1934 she married Norbert Darr who preceded her in death June 4, 1997. Mrs. Darr was a homemaker and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Surviving are her children: Sally (Bob) Wilhelm of Helena, OH, Norma Darr of Troy, MI, Albert (Alice) Darr and Carroll (Jeannie) Darr both of Fremont; 18 grandchildren, 33 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister Magdalene Darr. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Parish Wake Services will be held at the Funeral Home Monday evening at 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor with the Rev. David L. Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be made to either: Catholic Education Development Fund at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont or St. Boniface Catholic Church.
