Lucille A. Kukay

Lucille A. Kukay, 85, of Marblehead, OH died Thursday, November 19, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born March 16, 1924 the daughter of the late Michael and Lena (Boytim) Monak. She married Louis W. Kukay on Sept. 21, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2002. Mrs. Kukay was a homemaker and business owner in Marblehead for over 55 years retiring in 2001. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. She loved cooking, shopping, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her son: Daniel (Vickie) Kukay of Marblehead; grandchildren: Craig A. (Rebecca) Kukay of Delaware, Brooke E. Kukay of Marblehead, Kevin D. Kukay of Marblehead, Megan E. Kukay of Marblehead; great-grandson: Mason Kukay of Delaware; brother: Norbert Monak of Marblehead. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Louis A. "Butch" Kukay, infant son: Frank; brothers: Kenneth Monak, Melvin Monak, Edmond Monak, infant brother: Michael and infant sister: Patricia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Daniel Ring at 10:30 am Monday, November 23, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside--Marblehead, OH. Burial will be in St Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
