Luane S. Tipton

Luane S. (Sandwisch) Tipton, 64, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was born in Port Clinton, OH on October 27, 1957, a daughter of Ronald & Arlene (Genzman) Sandwisch. Luane was a 1976 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, and was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She was the head of housekeeping at the Excaliber Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. A lover of all animals, Luane was especially fond of dogs. Luane is survived by her mother, Arlene Sandwisch of Oak Harbor; her sister, Diane (Bob) Ittel of Fremont, OH; nieces, Vicki (Nick) Cleveland and Jackie Ittel; great niece, Hadleigh; and great nephews, Aidan, Isaac, and Adam. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Sandwisch. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 22, 2021 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, where visitation will be after 11:00 AM Monday. Pastor Becky Bolander will officiate, and interment will be at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
