On Tuesday, June 9, 2009, Lois W. Baldwin Everett passed away in her home with family close. Born December 3, 1924 to Orville and Minnie (Bebow) Baldwin, Lois married Glendon Everett on May 1, 1947. Together they raised their three sons. Lois worked as a cosmetologist for a few years after receiving her license and soon after became the office manager for Everett's Hay and Straw, working side by side with her husband. After retiring in 1990, Lois and Glendon happily spent thirteen winters at their home in Sun City Center, Florida, returning fulltime to their home in Oak Harbor in 2004. Lois enjoyed being a member of many organizations including the National Hay Association, where she was a Past 1st Lady; and the AOPA-pilots. She was also a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, and was a Cub Scout den mother for many years. Lois was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved her family greatly and enjoyed sharing stories with them about the wonderful life and trips she and Glendon shared. Lois is survived by her husband of 62 years, Glendon; sons, Mark (Jackie) Everett, Genoa, Ohio, Paul (Cheryl) Everett, Flat Rock, Michigan, David (Sally) Everett, Oak Harbor; grandchildren, Mary (Mike) Morse, Marblehead, Ohio, Dale (Marisha) Everett, Oak Harbor, Christopher Everett, Findlay, Ohio, Stephanie Everett, Yuma, Arizona, and Kenen Everett, Oak Harbor; step granddaughter, Renea Royster; great-grandchildren, JoAnn Hoffmann, Christopher Hoffmann, D.J. Everett, and Dylan Everett; step great-grandsons, Philip and Damian Royster; and great-great grandson, Jayden Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Max Baldwin. Friends are invited to call from 2-5 P.M. Sunday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 15, 2009 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, with the Rev. David Tinker officiating.
