Lois J. Hartman

Lois J. Hartman, 64, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Wednesday evening at her home. She was born in Ottawa County on December 5, 1944, a daughter of Emery & Clara (Hengvos) Orman. Lois was a Licensed Practical Nurse, and a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed making dried floral arrangements and was an avid bowler for many years. Lois was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, where she was a former Sunday School teacher. On August 1, 1965, she married Dan Hartman, and he survives. Also surviving are her sons, James (Anderia) Hartman, Graytown, Ohio, and Mike Hartman, Oak Harbor; brothers, James (Carol) Orman and David (Mary) Orman, both of Oak Harbor, Robert (Marjori) Orman, Fairhaven, Massachusetts; sister, Helen Johnson, Clearwater, Florida; and grandchildren, Tori, T.J. and Trent Hartman. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Ella; and brothers, Richard, Wilbur, Gaylord, and Charles Orman. Friends may call from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Paul United Church of Christ, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
