Lois J. Cooper

Lois J. Cooper, 88 of Port Clinton, OH, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in Edgewood Manor Nursing Center of Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born Thursday, May 10, 1917 in Fremont, OH, Daughter of the late Leroy Swedersky and the late Cora Strawman. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Ressurection Lutheran Church, Child Conservation League, and Catawba Island Vol. Fire Dept Women's Aux. and worked as a Homemaker. She married Richard E. Cooper and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1969 . Mrs. Cooper is survived by 4 Sons, Thomas R. (Barbara) Cooper of Put-In-Bay, OH, James L. (Sandy) Cooper of Columbus, OH, Ronald C. (Julie) Cooper of Hilliard, OH, William R. (Kay) Cooper of Johnstown, OH; Sister, Norma Drusbacky of Port Clinton, OH; Six Grandchildren, Three Great-grandechildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Cooper and sister: Marian Herring. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Kurt Burows officiating. Interment will be in the Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Catawba Island Vol. Fire Dept.
