Lois Helen Magsig, 91, formerly of Woodville and Elmore, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Genoa Care Center, Genoa, OH. She was born April 4, 1917 in Cleveland, OH to the late Emil and Elsie (Miller) Schwartz. On April 23, 1948 she married Virgil Magsig and he survives. She was a Nurse in the United States Army during World War II serving in North Africa and Italy. She was a member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Virgil "Spike" Magsig of Genoa, sons: Edward (Kathy) Magsig of Elmore and Allan (Toni) Magsig of Woodville; daughters: Carolyn (Bob) Tully of Osgood, IN and Alice Spahn of Sheridan, WY and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters: Eleanor Barber and Dorothy Britton. Memorial Services will take place Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 1pm at St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Stuhmer officiating. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
