Linda L. Fleenor

Linda L. Fleenor, 68, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio with her family by her side. She was born on May 17, 1944 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Burlyn and Hazel (Bork) Fick. She married Jennings Fleenor in 1966 and he survives. Throughout her life she was a caregiver, taking care of family and friends, and always willing to help someone in need. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton; member of the mother of twins club; and she helped work at the Board of Elections. She loved to play bingo, travel, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband: Jennings; sons: Garry (Kimberly) Fleenor; James Fleenor; Jason Fleenor; and Chris (Jessica) Fleenor, all of Port Clinton; grandchildren: James Cody Fleenor, Bobby Fleenor, Jaelyn Fleenor, Grace Fleenor; brothers: Burly Fick and Larry (Sheila) Fick, both of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister: Barbara Jean Fick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 1-3pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, where Funeral Services will be held at 3pm with Pastor James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in LaCarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Fleenor Memorial Fund.
