Linda J. Penry, 65, of Marblehead, OH passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Magruder Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born June 2, 1954 in Ashtabula and is the daughter of Robert and Elsie (Shinault) Pallutch. She attended Ashtabula High School. Her love of flying in the mid-1970s brought her to Marblehead, Ohio; the area where she loved and spent the rest of her life. Lin was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was blessed with two children and two grandchildren and she especially cherished the time she spent with them. Lin loved spending time with all her friends, family and "Ya-Ya" friends. Linda loved to read. She was talented in the art of Scherenschnitte; paper-cutting artwork. Lin was an excellent cook, enjoying cooking and baking. She loved flowers and gardening. Linda worked at Dr. Sneider Podiatry as the Office Manager for 20 years where she enjoyed helping patients and making many new friends along the way. Lin will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her husband: Steve Penry, son: Kevin Limpert, daughter: Jenna (Mark) Sandvick, grandchildren: Abram and Penelope, father: Robert (Martha) Pallutch, Sr., brother: Robert (Kathy) Pallutch, Jr., numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Elsie (Shinault) Pallutch and mother-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" (Penry) Laubner. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00pm. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury Cemetery. Rev. Beth Westphal is officiating.
