Lin M. Worthington

Lin M. (Smith) Worthington, 69, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at The Bellevue Hospital, Bellevue, Ohio. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 8, 1950, the daughter of Thomas L. & Lillian (Bauer) Smith. Lin was the office manager for over 20 years at the Oak Harbor branch of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. On November 7, 1970, she married Larry Worthington, and he survives. Also surviving is their daughter, Lisa (Brad) Derr, Mooresville, North Carolina; brother, Thomas K. (Becky) Smith, Alabaster, Alabama; sister Diana Macionis, Rockwood, Michigan; grandchildren, Dakota (Briahna) Derr, and Daulton Derr. Lin was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lee J. Worthington; and brother, Michael Smith. Friends may call from 2-8 PM Monday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Due to the Covid19 Pandemic, Private Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Scott Cunningham officiating and may be viewed on the Crosser Funeral Home YouTube page. Interment will follow at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
