Lillian Canter

Lillian Canter, 81, of Port Clinton passed away peacefully, Monday, February 15, 2021 at Riverview Healthcare Campus. She was born February 2, 1940 in Inez, KY the daughter of Travis and Gracie (Stepp) Staton. She married Leslie E “Duke” Canter, Jr. on October 15, 1960 and Duke preceded her in death on May 8, 2016. Lillian was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. Surviving are her daughter: Linda (Keith) Slauterbeck of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Christie Diane (Andy) Miller of Oak Harbor, Brittany Lynn (Zach) Ross of Oak Harbor; great-grandchildren: Griffin Miller, Kinley Miller, Cameron Ross, Ava Ross and Lincoln Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother: Dexter Staton. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH 43452. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, February 22, 2021 in the funeral home followed by interment in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
