Lillian A. “Nan” Marsh, 92, of Genoa, OH, and formerly of Elmore, died Friday morning at Genoa Care Center where she had been a resident. She was born in Hespeler, Ontario on January 28, 1914 to the late Wellington and Louisa (Stoddart) Cutting. On March 9, 1935 she married Ernest C. Marsh who preceded her in death on June 3, 1989. She was employed by St. Charles Hospital as a dietary supervisor. She also worked at the former Rosalyn Hall, an all girls school in Elmore. Lillian was a member of St. Paul-Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. She loved attending the Senior Lunches at Grace Lutheran Church, and was an avid knitter of afghans and blankets. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida, where she and her husband made their winter home for 15 years. Survivors include her daughter, Joan (Byron) Gilbert of Elmore, son Dave (Karen) Marsh of Orlando, FL, daughter-in-law Ethel Marsh of Accokeek, MD, beloved grandchildren: Brett (Rona) Gilbert, Brad Gilbert, Lisa Wheeler, and great-grandson, Jarrett Wheeler. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Marsh, and brothers, Stuart and Melvan Cutting. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Monday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Rev. Rick Stuhmer will officiate, and interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elmore.
