Leslie E. Farrow, 87, of Port Clinton, OH, died Saturday evening, November 4, 2006 at his home. He was born in Nelsonville, OH on February 14, 1919, a son of the late John & Binnie (Pennell) Farrow. Mr. Farrow was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a retired federal employee, having worked at the Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus, OH, and the former Erie Army Depot, Port Clinton. He also farmed. On Thanksgiving Day of 1939, he married the former Evelyn Kroeger, and she survives. Also surviving are their children, James Lee (Sharon) Farrow, Oak Harbor, OH; Sherry Ann (Arthur) McGonigle, Wernersville, PA; grandchildren, Gary (Sherry), Michael, Jennifer, Heather, and Arthur (Rebecca), and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James & Dallas Farrow. The family will receive friends after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Rev. Lowell Peters will officiate, and interment will be in Rushau Cemetery, Carroll Township. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton.
