Leslie C. Stuckert, 88, of Marblehead, OH and Englewood, FL died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo, OH. He was born August 21, 1922 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Fred and Alice (Henrich) Stuckert. He married Rita Evans on June 5, 1948 and she survives. He was a production manager for 37 years for Teledyne in Wickliffe, Ohio retiring in 1984. He was a United State Marine Corps veteran serving in World War II. He was an active member of the Port Clinton Elks Lodge No. 1718 and a former member of the Weslaco Sportsman Club in Willoughby, Ohio. He loved to fish and hunt and he enjoyed making wood carvings of ducks, birds, geese, sea gulls and reindeer. At Christmas time he enjoyed making pine cone wreathes. Surviving are his wife: Rita; daughter: Linda (Bob Chamberlin) Brown of Mentor, OH; grandchildren: Tim (Christine) Brown, Leslie (Jason) Stockmaster; great-grandchildren: Matthew and Ryan Brown, Autumn and Alison Stockmaster; brother: Jack Klem of Englewood, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law: Henry W. Brown III. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd., LakesideMarblehead, OH 43440 where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am with Rev. Beverly Wrobel officiating. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzeheimer's Association.
