Leona E. "Tony" Bahnsen

Leona E. "Tony" Bahnsen, 89, of Port Clinton, OH died Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was born June 11, 1927 in Lacarne, OH the daughter of Albert and Bernita (Floro) Tettau. She married Dale C. Bahnsen in 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2002. Mrs. Bahnsen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, knitting and gambling. Surviving are her daughter: Barbara Ann Bahnsen of Bonisay, Fl; son: Marty (Robin) Bahnsen of Lakeside-Marblehead; grandchildren: Kyly, Tyler, Mollie, Amanda, Nicholas; many great-grandchildren; sister: Carolyn Tettau of Sterling, VA and brother: Albert (Lela) Tettau of Oak Harbor, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother: Richard Tettau. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Private graveside services will be held at LaCarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, OH. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
