Leon D. "Lee" Voisard

Leon D. "Lee" Voisard, 73, of Marblehead and formerly of Marion died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born October 16, 1939 in Dayton, OH the son of Joseph and Mary (Didier) Voisard. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Stueve on September 16, 1961 and she survives. Lee owned and operated Voisard Plumbing and Heating in Marion retiring in 1999. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, Port Clinton Elks, Marblehead V.F.W., Sandusky Am. Vets and he was a past Grand Knight of Council #671, Marion, Ohio. He was an avid boater and enjoyed fishing and golfing. Surviving are his wife: Betty; sons: Eric (Edie) Voisard of Powell, OH, Joseph Voisard of Marion; daughter: Beth (Chris) Pae of Mt Vernon, OH; grandchildren: Caitlin, Caroline, Claire, Shannon, Kevin, Kyle, Marisa, Courtney, Brooke; brothers: Steve (Mary Ann) Voisard of Port Clinton, Alan Voisard of El Cayon, CA, Mark (Faye) Voisard of Nevada; sister: Yvonne (Cliff) Baldwin of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by one daughter and grandson: Christopher Voisard. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dan Ring at 10:30 am Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH. Interment will be in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St Jude Foundation or the donors choice.
