Leland "Lee" / "Blue" Goon

Leland L. "Lee"/ "Blue" Goon, 73 of Elmore, OH died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born May 1, 1944 in Mansfield, OH to the late Glen and Delores (Haught) Goon. On June 19, 1965 he married the former Susan Lynn Willmeth and she survives. Leland was a Heavy Equipment Operator working over 50 years as an Equipment Engineer for Local 18 in Toledo, OH. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge Aries 712 in Fremont, OH. Lee enjoyed fishing, boating, camping at Turtle Creek in Oak Harbor, and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Susan of Elmore; children: Marty (Krissy Homler) Goon of Genoa, OH and Sheila (David) Hineline of Castalia, OH; grandchildren: Derick and Denver Goon and Eric and Emily Hineline; great- grandson Owen; and 2 great- granddaughters on the way; brothers: Melvin (Cindy) Goon and Kenny (Brenda) Goon; sisters: Wanda Kay, Robin Lynn, and Glenna Sue; brother- in- law Ernie "Butch" (Jody) Willmeth; and sister- in- law Judy Tilson. Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore- Genoa Chapel from 2-6pm with a service to begin at 6pm at the Funeral Home.
