Lawrence W. St.Clair

April 11, 1936 — June 19, 2023

Lawrence W. “Ollie” St.Clair passed away 6/19/23

His wife of 61 years Janet and his children Cathy and Larry and Larry's wife Shaun were by his side at home. He had family members stop by and tell him stories of how he touched their lives before his passing.

He married Janet M (Adkins) on November 25, 1961. They have 2 children Catherine M. Jensen and Larry (Shaun) St.Clair. Grandchildren: Heather (Steve), Craig (Marlowe), Dakotah (Tanner), Shelby and Hunter, Kortney (Joe), Allison (Matt), Davey, Haley (Ryan). Great Grandchildren: Ryder, Harper and Olive (lil Ollie), Finn and Ellis, Maisyn and Willow, River and Sanders, Josie, Lukasz and Kora.

His parents Virgil H. and Ivy (Skinner) St.Clair, David V St. Clair and Baby Timothy St. Clair preceded him in his death. Surviving brothers and sisters: Alvin (Laurie) St. Clair, Joyce Jackson, Anne Callen, Virgil B. (Wendy) St.Clair, Sandy (David V.) St. Clair and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered as a wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend. His life revolved around the seasons: Fishing, Hunting, trapping. He enjoyed working closely with his family all of his life. His favorite marsh companions were: Gull, Rush and Dozer (those dogs loved Ollie). From his first steps in life, he knew he was destined to continue the St. Clair tradition of managing this marsh, The Toussaint Shooting Club. Ollie was the third generation of St. Clairs, this was his life's passion. The waterways and marsh around the lake, from the Toussaint River to Camp Perry thrived for years under his constant care. His watch ended in April, 2017 when he then handed the reins over to his son Larry.

Ollie unfortunately developed Parkinson is his last decade of life. But, with his faithful wife and family he continued visiting the areas he loved and talk to the people he enjoyed!

Please remember him by drinking a peanut butter milk shake and taking in the views along Lake Shore drive or a gaze out over the Toussaint River.

We would like to Thank Promedica Hospice for all of their care and kindness to Ollie and their support of his family.

We would also like your favorite memorable story of Ollie jotted down on a card and sent to the family or bring it to His Remembrance Day later this year, we will send out an announcement, it will be before DUCK Season!

Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesman.com .
