Lauren E. Kroeger

Lauren E. Kroeger, 77 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa, OH. He was born March 27, 1934 in Elmore, to the late Elmer and Frieda (Deno) Kroeger. He was a 1953 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. On May 12, 1957 he married the former Ruth H. Davis at Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg, OH and she survives. Mr. Kroeger worked first for Truman Pharmacy in Elmore and from August 1966 until his retirement in September 1991 he was a sales representative for Western- Southern Life of Cincinnati, OH. Lauren was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore. Lauren was a private individual who enjoyed the many get-togethers and holidays with this family. Survivors include his wife Ruth, sons: Mark (Kay), Randal, and Andrew Kroeger, all of Elmore; grandchildren: Robert (Jesselin) Kroeger of Wauseon, OH, Rhiannon (Fabian) D'Souza of Columbus, OH, Matthew Kroeger of Elmore, Heidi (Jeremy) Gerwin of Gibsonburg; and great- grandsons Aydin and Case Kroeger of Wauseon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Henry Kroeger. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Services will begin at 11am Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore with Rev. Stephen Lutz officiating. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery.
