Larry Kohlman

August 9, 1946 — November 27, 2021

Larry Calvin Kohlman, seventy-five, of Port Clinton, Ohio was called to be with the Lord on November 27, 2021. Larry was born in Toledo, Ohio and he was the son of the late Calvin Kohlman and Arlene (Hartenfeld) Kohlman. After attending Port Clinton High School, he worked at Vern Miller Chevrolet, Standard Products, and Gypsum, then he went on to be the operator of Kohlman Auto Wrecking, until he retired in 2011. Larry was an accomplished farmer, who bred and raised Miniature horses, Belgian Draft horses, donkeys, and goats. He enjoyed restoring horse drawn wagons and John Deere tractors. He loved going to Amish Country, going to horse auctions, spending time with his friends and family, and going to the Smoky Mountains. He was married to Barbara (Keller) Kohlman for fifty-four years and she survives, along with his daughter Stacy Kohlman Fillmore and granddaughters Michelle Fillmore and Brittney Fillmore. Our hearts may never heal fully from this loss, but Larry is whole again and in Heaven. The Bible says in Matthew 5: 3-4, “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven, blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted”. He was born country and this country’s what he loved. - Alabama There will be no visitation or services, as cremation has taken place
