Larry A. Gresh

Larry A. Gresh, 62, of Port Clinton, died Friday March 23, 2007 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born July 4, 1944 in Marblehead, a son of Andrew and Mary (Pepa-Capko) Gresh. On October 8, 1976 he married Cathy Ann Sebastiano and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2002. Larry was employed by the Celotex Corp and Ludlow Composites. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Port Clinton, Moose Lodge 1610 of Port Clinton, the VFW Post 7572 of Marblehead and the Knights of Columbus, Port Clinton Council #1750. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, dancing and listening to country and blue grass music. Surviving is his daughter, Teresa (Robert) Weagraff of Catawba Island; sons, Dameon Gresh of Columbus and Andy Gresh of Port Clinton; Grandson, Wyatt Gresh, and granddaughter, Reece Gresh; brother, Donald (Margaretta) Gresh of Port Clinton, and sisters, Marian (Vincent) Stayancho of Marblehead, and Joyce (Harold) Zura of Sandusky. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. John C. Missler officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church or the Stein Hospice.
