Laren L. Carter, 71, of Port Clinton, OH died Monday, November 26, 2018 at her home. She was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Harry and Doris (Dehring) Warren. She married Robert Carter and he preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Carter worked in the Deli at Kroger in Port Clinton for 23 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of Bible Methodist Church, Port Clinton, OH. Surviving are her significant other: David Hills, Sr.; children: Robert (Mary) Carter of Castalia, Andrea (Jeff Risner) Carter of Bellevue, Chad (DeeAnn) Carter of Huron; grandchildren: Hayley Carter, Lucas Carter, Kennedy Carter; step-grandchild: Taylor Butler; step-siblings: Randall Depner of Ft. Wayne, IN, Barbara Lorensen of Oak Harbor, and Dennis (Donna) Depner of Port Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
