LaDonna J. Dailey, 75 of Oak Harbor, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born October 8, 1934 in Oak Harbor to the late Donald and Helen (Burmeister) Rimelspach. LaDonnawas a 1952 graduate of Salem- Oak Harbor High School. On January 9, 1960 she married Edwin Dailey and he survives. LaDonna was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. She worked for Erie Army Depot and other various Military Agencies for the Government for many years as clerical staff. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #114 both Oak Harbor. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. Survivors include her husband, Ed of Oak Harbor, son Fred (Debra) Dailey of New Haven, IN; grandchildren Renee and Elizabeth Dailey; sisters: Ruby Moritz of Genoa, OH, Rita Chrysler of Oak Harbor, Carol (Robert) Kosanka of Oak Harbor, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers- in-law Orson Moritz and Clare Chrysler. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor where American Legion Post #114 and V.F.W. Post #8732 will conduct military graveside rites.
