L. J. Bouldin

L.J. Bouldin, 87, of Elmore, OH, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born in Boaz, AL on October 31, 1918, a son of Albert & Nancy (Gaskin) Bouldin. Mr. Bouldin was a retired caretaker for Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, Elmore. He was a member of Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore, and Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Boaz, AL. Mr. Bouldin married the former Lillian Waldrep in May of 1939, and she preceded him in death on October 12, 2001. Surviving are his sons, Alton (Carol) Bouldin, Helena, OH, Terry (Lori) Bouldin, Woodville, OH; daughters, Gayle Wells, LasVegas, NV, Bonnie (Joe) Roslin, Boaz, AL, and Deborah (Ed) Braddock, Elmore, OH. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Bouldin. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Carr Funeral Home, Boaz, AL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Boaz, with interment in the church cemetery.
