Kevin C. Pfaff

Kevin C. Pfaff, 69, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH. He was born in Port Clinton, OH on February 5, 1954, a son of the late Charles E. & Betty E. (Mittan) Pfaff.

Kevin was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School, and was a retired diesel mechanic at CSX Transportation, where he worked for 38 years. An active community member, Kevin was a member of Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years, serving as chief for over 10 years. He also was a member of Mid-County Emergency Medical Service, Oak Harbor for many years, and was a member of the former Moose Lodge, Port Clinton. Kevin enjoyed fishing, but his greatest love was his grandbabies.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Pfaff, Woodville, OH; Anthony (Jolene) Pfaff, Greencastle, IN; brothers, Kenneth (Lois) Pfaff, Oak Harbor, and Karl Pfaff, Rocky Ridge; and sister, Charlene Hayes, Rocky Ridge. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Aaron , Teagen , Evelyn, Faith, Kristalynn, Holden, Lyla, and Desirae. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandy Gilbert.

Visitation will be from 2-8 P. M. Wednesday at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday. Interment will follow at Limestone Cemetery, Limestone, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
