Kenneth I. "Bill" Swain August 16, 1932- January 27, 2012 Kenneth I. "Bill" Swain, 79, of Danbury Twp., Ohio passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia and moved to the Marblehead Peninsula in 1950. Ken was a member of the Izaak Walton League of America, the Humane Society of Ottawa County, member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and a member of the NRA. Ken was the owner-operator of Bill Swain Masonry, retiring in 1996. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years: Shirley (Phillabaum) Swain, sons: William of Columbus, Ohio and Curtis (Mary) Swain of Danbury; daughter: Linda (Mike) Leahy of Vickery, Ohio; brother: Elmer (Naomi) of Roanoke, VA; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Elizabeth (Witt) Swain; brothers: Frank, Melvin, Carl, Edward, Jr., and sisters: Francis, Judy, Sallie and Bettie. There will be no visitation or services at this time as cremation has taken place. Graveside services and burial will take place in the spring at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton.
